Year 5-6 Pemberton Camp Tuesday 7th November to Friday 11th November
Our year 5/6 students will be travelling to Fairbridge Camp School in Pemberton on Tuesday 7th of November to Friday 11th November. They will be leaving Djidi Djidi Aboriginal school at 9am Tuesday morning. The students will participate in daily activities.
Day 1 – Pemberton Challenge β An opportunity to learn some team building skills; with problem solving, leadership and communication, then an amazing race style activity where students work in teams to navigate between a series of challenges around the camp school and local town.
Day 2 – Big Brook Dam β 15 minutes from Pemberton Camp School. Students travel to Big Brook Dam for a day of raft building, canoeing, and bushwalking (4km).
Day 3 – Yeagarup Adventure βThe Yeagarup Dunes are the largest land-locked mobile dune system in the southern hemisphere. Students will hike in from Lake Yeagarup followed by a support vehicle. They will run down the Dunes playing games and learning about the environment.
Day 4 – Leave Pemberton Camp School at 9am to return to Djidi Djidi Aboriginal School.
