A Spectacular Show
On Thursday, December 5th, Djidi Djidi hosted its annual school concert, where students and staff showcased their incredible talents, honed over weeks of practice. The concert was filled with energy and creativity, all centred around the student-voted theme of Aussie Songs
The performance lineup included:
- Wombat Wobble by Dermokalitj
- A Home Amongst the Gumtrees by Nyingarn
- Wash Your Face with Orange Juice by Kaarda
- You’re the Voice by Yongka
- Treaty by Wetj
We also celebrated the winners of our end-of-year awards – each one truly deserving! A special thank you to Lisa Barlow from Buswest for presenting the Bus Awards, and to Pop Doug for assisting Aunty Charmaine in presenting the Noongar Language Awards.
We were honoured to have Maxine Williams present the Phyllis McGuire Citizenship Award to graduating student Lashayah Abraham on behalf of the Mcguire Family.
Every student took part in a night that filled our hearts with pride. Congratulations to all for their outstanding efforts!
